As Scott and Kim White arrived home at 137A Bradley 16, Saturday night, they saw a fire glow in the second story window on the southeast corner of the home. By the time the first Bradley County Rural Fire unit arrived, the fire was free burning out the southeast windows and had spread along the front porch area. The fire was confined to the second floor. However, the roof collapsed, and there was extensive water and smoke damage to the first floor. The Bradley County Rural Fire Department was assisted by the Warren Fire Department in both apparatus and personnel.
The estimated dollar losses were reported as approximately $120,000 in property and $80,000 in contents.
At the time of this report, the cause of the fire was unknown with no human factors contributing to the fire.
