Warren Forward, a group committed to improving and promoting Warren, especially the downtown area, meet Monday at Molly's Diner to discuss various projects and fund raising efforts.  Bradley County Chamber President David King presided.  The committee was joined by students of the East Lab program operated by the Southeast Arkansas Community Based Education Center.  The students are helping with ideas and design.

Among the projects discussed were renovating the New Zion AME Church located on N. Myrtle Street, plans for the railroad depot now owned by the Chamber, an effort to refurbish the Warren Cultural Center, future plans for the Bryant's Building on Main Street and a program to help clean up areas and buildings both public and private in Warren.  There was also a discussion as to how to raise needed funds to help with the projects.

The cleanup effort is being organized in cooperation with the City of Warren and will consist of teams of volunteers to help clean up properties, public right of ways and in cases with owner approval, private structures.

Warren Forward believes in Warren and will keep working to grow the Warren economy according to the members.
