Rob Reep Addresses Fordyce Rotary

Rob Reep, owner of Raptorproductions, was guest speaker  October 1st at the regular meeting of the Fordyce Rotary Club.  Mr. Reep showed a trailer of his still in production movie called "Captain" and
spoke to the members about his work and plans for the movie.  The Club members asked him a number of questions and showed great interest in the project.

"Captain" is the story of Hugh Bradley for whom Bradley County is named.  It is tied directly to the War of 1812 and the Battle of New Orleans.  Actors from a number of places throughout Arkansas are taking part in the production which is being shot primarily in South Arkansas.  The movie is being produced in Warren.

Richard Ledbetter of Fordyce and David King of Warren, both with parts in the movie, were in attendance.

Reep indicated that the film will be released in the summer of 2015.
