These animals need rescuing. P.A.W.S. dressed them up and even gave them names.  Take a look.  It will be hard to say no.

P.A.W.S. went to the city shelter Friday.  They had dog treats and a Christmas neck scrunchie.  After walking all the dogs, they took pictures.    Please consider adopting a shelter dog.  The city of Warren charges $25 to adopt a dog and that includes their spay/neuter.

Small Business Saturday is Saturday, November 30. Developed in 2010 by American Express, Small Business Saturday takes place between Black Friday and Cyber Monday. In 2011, the U.S. Senate officially recognized the day and many more people a participated and raised more money for small businesses.

As the holiday season is rapidly approaching, choosing where to buy your holiday presents can be difficult. Maybe some of you did layaway or ordered online, but it is not the same as being in the store. With the recent controversy over major stores opening on Thanksgiving, many people are reconsidering their shopping choices.

With so many department stores, we tend to forget businesses that are in Warren. These businesses promote the local economy and introduces people to shopping locally.

The following businesses are participating in the 2013 Small Business Saturday: Words on a Shirt, Wired of Warren, Busy Bee, Spinning Wheel, Cato's, Main Street Florist, Randall's Antiques, Premiere Video/Total Tan, More Stuff, Mane Event, C-Way, M&M Resale, Lumberjack Yamaha, Gannaway Drug, TRC Outlet and Massey's.

When choosing where to shop this holiday season, be sure to consider to the many small businesses in Warren.
