Walk Across Arkansas Week 4 results
Following are the results for total minutes walked for week 4 of Walk Across Arkansas for the teams that have reported. Travelin’ Tomatoes – 2273; Warren Woman’s Club – 1803; The Weaver’s - 830; The Pahuamba’s – Not reported. Top three individual placements for week 4 are: Tricia Wilkinson – 505; Randy Rawls – 480; and tied for 3rd place is Karen Rawls – 420 and Glenda Cross - 420.
Outdoors: Celebrate National Arbor Day with Free Tree Friday
Adding trees to your yard or to the community forest is beneficial to all Arkansans, and spring is an excellent time to plant trees! In honor of National Arbor Day, celebrated annually on the last Friday of April, the Arkansas Department of Agriculture Forestry Division will be hosting drive-through bare-root seedling giveaways at various locations across the state on Fridays throughout the month of April.

After a significantly scaled back Tomato Festival last year due to COVID-19, the 2021 PTF facebook page has announced that the Bradley County Pink Tomato 5K will be live and in person this year.

WARREN, Ark. (4/13/21) – Bradley County Medical Center has made updates to its visitation policy to reflect the No Patient Left Alone that was recently signed into law in Arkansas.
Sports: Arkansas signs Musselman to new contract
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Coming off the program’s first NCAA Tournament Elite Eight appearance in more than 25 years, the University of Arkansas has signed head men’s basketball coach Eric Musselman to a new employment agreement that could extend Musselman’s tenure in Fayetteville through at least the 2028 season.

The Warren School Board met for their regular monthly meeting Monday, April 12 and conducted a number of items of business including review of school finances and approval of the minutes of previous meetings. Members then returned the next day and held a special called meeting. Both will be reported on in this story.

The Great Seark Concert Showcase Talent Hunt happening April 24
The Great SEARK Talent Hunt Showcase featuring winners from all 7 counties will be Saturday, April 24th @ 2pm at the UAM Cotton Boll Stadium.
The #1 Finalist from each county will be competing for the Grand Prize.
Celebrity Judges are Christian singer/songwriter David Leonard, Fox 16 Newscaster Donna Terrell, and American Idol Contestant Ryan Harmon.
TWO BONUS CONCERTS for the April 23-24 weekend include David Leonard (formerly of All Sons & Daughters & also of Monticello) on Friday night at 7:00 pm by Weevil Pond. And the Rodney Block Collective (Professional Jazz Musician & also UAM Alumni) on Saturday at 12:30 pm on the UAM Football Field. Just before the big Talent Showcase.
Both of these shows tee up the TALENT SHOWCASE with our seven counties of finalists on Saturday at 2:00 pm at the Football Field.
